Abstract

This research aims to study the manifestations of the difference in the
form of women in the rock inscriptions as a comparative study
between Egypt and Namibia, where the rock inscriptions differed to
show the form of women between Egypt and Namibia in showing the
human form
Only the rock inscriptions and colored drawings appeared to show the
form of women in the Egyptian civilization in a simple form, which
are lines, while not exaggerating to show the details of the body, And
when we moved from the period of rock art to colored drawings, there
was an attempt to show some signs of femininity, such as the chest
and buttocks, relatively more, without prejudice to the nomination
ratios of the image and the increase of skirts for women.
As for showing the shape of women in rock inscriptions in Namibia,
there was a very great exaggeration in showing the charms and
fullness of the body, especially in the chest or buttocks area as well as
there was an exaggeration in showing the hairstyle, which
characterized the shape of women in Namibia with features that made
it easier for scholars to distinguish the human form between a man and
a woman, but in Egyptian civilization there was difficulty in
distinguishing the human form, especially for women, from other
civilizations, and this will be addressed by the research.
